AI for AM

Additive Manufacturing (AM), regardless of the material used, is inherently complex. The performance of the manufactured part depends on the properties of the material, the design of the part, the reliability of the processing equipment, the orientation of the print, and the process parameters used. This paper explores how AI can be used to accelerate developments in materials that perform well when used in AM, and how AI can help optimize processing parameters.
