REDWOOD CITY, Calif.–February 6, 2019 (BUSINESS WIRE)–Citrine Informatics, the leading materials informatics platform for materials development, announced today that Dr. Cynthia Arnold has been elected to its Board of Directors, effective January 31, 2019. Dr. Arnold recently served as the Chief Technology Officer of The Valspar Corporation, where she was responsible for technology strategy, and the project portfolio and organizational development of the global technology function across eight Valspar businesses. Prior to joining Valspar in 2011, Dr. Arnold served as the Chief Technology Officer at Sun Chemical Corporation.

Dr. Arnold holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and MBA from the University of California at Berkeley, as well as a PhD in materials science and engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She served as a Sloan Executive Fellow in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy from 1992 to 1994.
